We are still needing to find representatives for the church in preparation for our APCM.
Due to Covid-19 we now have longer than expected for people to nominate them. Currently existing PCC and Deanery Synod representatives are not permitted to stand down until the postponed APCM has been rearranged.
PCC and Deanery Synod Representatives - Your Parish needs you!
We are looking to elect 5 PCC (Parochial Church Council) members at our Annual Parochial Church meeting (APCM) - revised date yet to be agreed.
The PCC is the governing body of our church and is a charity.
As such, the PCC members are the Trustees. You can become a PCC member if you are aged 16+, baptised and on the electoral roll.
Deanery Synod Reps:
We need to elect 4 Deanery Synod lay representatives at our Annual Parochial Church meeting (APCM) - revised date yet to be agreed.
You will represent the church at Deanery Level in their decision making, and will advise back to the PCC on actions. You can become a Deanery Synod Rep, if you are aged 16+, baptised and on the electoral roll.
Please contact with our Parish wardens (Rob Pudney or Chris Bell) or Clare Wilson, PCC Secretary firstname.lastname@example.org.
Completed nomination forms for both these posts (available for download from our website www.ifieldparish.org) need to be returned to Clare Wilson before the APCM.
All are welcome to attend the APCM – this is in an important meeting in the life of our church.
