Church Electoral Roll
ACTION NEEDED BY ALL
Every six years, we are required to remove everyone from the church electoral roll and prepare a new one – 2019 is that year!
Have you been coming to St Margaret’s Church for six months or more?
Have you been Baptised?
Are you aged 16 years+?
What does this mean for me?
Representation on the governing bodies of our church depends on the number of names on the roll.
Joining the Roll is compulsory if you wish to stand for election to the PCC or other synodical council (Deanery, Diocesan or General Synod).
Joining the Roll gives you the right to attend and vote at the APCM (annual parochial church meeting).
It enables you to help in the democratic choosing of who stands on the decision making body of your church.
How do I register on the Church Electoral Roll?
All church members are invited to please complete an application form.
Application Forms are available in Church or downloadable from the link below...
The deadline for this years return is Wednesday 27th March 2019.
Please return your form to Clare Wilson (PCC Secretary and Parish Electoral Roll Officer) in church, by email: email@example.com, or via the Parish Office.
